David Nadel

LCSW, LAC

David views recovery and wellness as a process of reclaiming and regaining what has been lost—identity, purpose, and connection.

David Nadel, LCSW, LAC, is the Co-founder of Trailhead Counseling Center and a licensed clinical social worker specializing in co-occurring disorders—mental health and substance use. He holds a Master’s in Social Work from Western New Mexico University and earned his Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) credential through Montana State University. His clinical experience includes roles in wilderness therapy programs, residential treatment centers for co-occurring disorders, therapeutic boarding schools, outpatient treatment programs facilitating group therapy and individual counseling.

David takes an integrative, person-centered approach that addresses both mental health and addiction. David views recovery and wellness as a process of reclaiming and regaining what has been lost—identity, purpose, and connection. With compassion, clinical insight, and a deep respect for each individual’s story, David supports clients in building resilience, restoring wholeness, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
