ADDICTION COUNSELING

What is Addiction Counseling?

Drug counseling is a type of therapy intended to help you stop using and seeking drugs compulsively. This type of counseling is appropriate for quitting alcohol and street drugs as well as prescription drugs. The drug counseling, often used along with supplemental treatments, is designed to break the addictive process and to give the individual tools to prevent relapse.

Who is Drug and Alcohol Counseling For?

Whether you or a loved one is struggling with addiction, we know how destructive and hopeless this can be. We have years of experience working with individuals, families and couples desiring a more happy and joyous life, free from the turmoil and chaos caused by addiction. As a family member of an addict or alcoholic, it can be difficult to navigate the difference between “helping” and “enabling”, and what it means to really “love” your loved one. We know addicts and alcoholics really mean it when they say they are done, yet so many find themselves once again trapped in the vicious cycle of addiction. This is not a road to be walked alone.
